Register to Volunteer!

 

If you are interested in volunteering for HomeRun, consider some of the following volunteer options:

 

1.  Advertising:  HomeRun needs to be advertised greatly in order for the event to run smoothly!  This includes contacting local running clubs, sports teams, and Habitat organizations. 

 

2.  Sponsorship:  we are looking for people who are willing to reach out to businesses from their home towns to ask for sponsorship for this event.  A sample letter will be provided to you.  

 

3.  Day-of activities:  HomeRun is a large event that requires a lot of planning for the actual day of the event.  Activities include registration, timing of runners, handing out water, directing participants, helping out with the awards ceremony, set-up and clean-up, and many other tasks as needed.  

 

4.  Recruiting volunteers:  All these activities need volunteers for the event to run smoothly.
